Bio Basic Europe IN VIVO Safety and Efficacy Tests Department has reached a highly qualified organization, in order to assist the Client in the commercialization of its products, by planning and performing tests to evaluate safety and efficacy, as required by the existing law: • EC Regulation No. 1223/2009 issued by European Parliament and Council on the 30th Nov. 2009; • “Guidelines for the Evaluation of the Efficacy of Cosmetic Products”, Revised version May 2008- Cosmetics Europe – The personal care association; • “Helsinki Declaration - Ethical Principles for Medical Research Involving Human Subjects” - last amendment: 59° General Assembly in Seoul, Oct. 2008. IN VIVO SAFETY TESTS We offer our professionalism and expertise in the following areas: • Studying and performing of tests to assess the safety of cosmetic products, making sure that the selected volunteers are always safe during the execution of the protocol; • Consultancy services and testing of products that need – because of their own composition or destination of use - special precautions (hair colours, volunteers with sensitive skin, multi-ethnic panels etc.); • Safety tests performed and constantly monitored by a highly specialized medical team (Medical Surgeons - Specialists in Dermatology and Venereology); • Implementation of customized protocols, studied according to the product features, with the aim of verifying and supporting the claims. IN VIVO EFFICACY TESTS We offer our professionalism and expertise in the following areas: • Studying and performing of tests to assess the efficacy of cosmetic products, making sure that the selected volunteers are always safe during the execution of the protocol; • Implementation of protocols, studied according to the product typical features, with the aim of verifying and supporting the claims. • Efficacy studies, carried out thanks to the participation and monitoring of a highly qualified medical team, according to the type of tested product (Dermatologists, Gynaecologists, Dentists, Paediatricians, Dietitians etc.); • Customized experimental protocols, involving the use of highly technological biomedical instrumentation, clinical evaluations, sensory analysis, photographic presentations of the results; • Drafting of scientific articles to be proposed to specialized magazines.
