Food supplements represent a category of food products of particular importance, which should not be underestimated with regard to safety, efficacy and quality. It is therefore necessary to check the appropriate compliance with any national and international regulation in force, applying the appropriate scientific, technical and regulatory criteria. Bio Basic Europe Srl provides scientific, technical and regulatory support to producers and manufacturers of food supplements, in all the phases of product development, carrying out some specific activities such as: - Checking of the compliance with the requirements of ingredients, packaging materials and formulation; - Identification of usable claims; - Checking of the labelling compliance with any current regulation; - Notification procedure to the Ministry of Health; - Support to the advertising message for a correct information; - Request for Free Sale certificates; - Collaboration for the preparation of technical documentation and for the bureaucratic procedures necessary to import/export from/to European and non-European countries; - Support concerning surveillance processes. In order to demonstrate the safety, quality, stability and efficacy of the preparations, Bio Basic Europe carries out in vitro studies. In the event of in vivo demonstrations of safety and efficacy being necessary, the company carries out experimental protocols for clinical studies, performs monitoring and notification activities of the beginning/results of the study at the Ministry of Health.
